Amber flag (real estate listings)

An informal warning — when a listing screams red flag potential without quite being one. Photos taken at night, vague address, owner asking for cash deposit upfront.

What newcomers get wrong

Real estate scams targeting newcomers are common. If the deal sounds amazing AND the agent is in a hurry, it's almost certainly a scam. Always inspect in person; never wire money before a signed lease.
