Terms of Service

About these terms

These Terms govern your use of Dollar Dreams (the Service). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian’s consent if you are between 16 and 18, to use the Service.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
  • You must keep your sign-in credentials secure.
  • You may not impersonate another person or organisation.

Posting listings

  • You may post rental and travel-companion listings only if you have the right to do so.
  • Listings must be accurate and not misleading. Australian Consumer Law applies — misleading or deceptive conduct is prohibited.
  • You must not include external contact information (email, phone, social handles, links) in listing descriptions. Other users will reach you through the Service’s contact gate.
  • We may pause, remove, or refuse any listing that breaches these Terms or our community guidelines.

What we are not

We are not migration agents and we do not provide migration advice. Information on the Service is general only. For advice on your circumstances, consult an agent registered on the MARA register. We are also not licensed financial advisers and we do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence.

Prohibited conduct

  • Scams, fraud, or any conduct that misleads other users.
  • Demanding payment outside the Service before in-person inspection or live video walkthrough.
  • Harassment, hate speech, or abuse toward other users.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, or unauthorised use of the Service.

Reports and moderation

We operate a publish-then-moderate model. Listings are checked automatically and go live immediately. Any user can report a listing, and our moderation team reviews reports promptly and may pause, remove, or take other action.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of user-submitted content. Where Australian Consumer Law implies a guarantee that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the resupply of the Service or the cost of resupply, at our option.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
