Be helpful, not generic
Specifics help. "I called X agency, they replied in 2 weeks, here's what they asked for" is useful. "Just hire an agent" is not.
Anonymity is for safety, not for sniping
Your handle is anonymous to other readers but visible to admins. Don't use that anonymity to attack other users, dox individuals, or settle personal scores. Naming individual businesses is fine if you've actually used them; speculation about specific people is not.
No legal or financial advice
Share your experience, not a verdict. Visa eligibility, tax positions, and financial decisions need a registered professional — find one through the services directory if you don't already have one.
No spam, no shilling
Don't promote your own business in the forum. If you want to be listed, apply to the relevant services directory.
Reports go to admins, not the author
If you see something wrong, hit the Report button on the post or reply. Admins review every report.
Australian Spam Act & defamation law apply
Australian defamation law applies to anonymous online speech. Naming individuals in a way that damages reputation can have legal consequences even with an anonymous handle.
